Is a chiropractor a doctor?

Yes! As with any other medical profession, a chiropractor attends chiropractic school and earns a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Chiropractic school has a curriculum very similar to medical school.

Is chiropractic safe?

Yes, chiropractic care is completely safe. It is suitable for all ages and conditions.

Does chiropractic care hurt?

No. Chiropractic adjustments are gentle and painless. Although, an audible cracking noise is sometimes heard. This is just the movement of fluid in your joints. The body may feel discomfort or soreness after. This is just the body reacting to being put back into alignment and should go away shortly there after. 

Once you see a chiropractor, do you have to go for the rest of your life?

No, this decision is ultimately up to you! The benefit for which you hope to enjoy from chiropractic is open to your discretion. However, we do advise our patients to consider lifetime chiropractic wellness care. In doing so, the long-term, lasting benefits of care can be enjoyed.

Do you treat children?

Yes, children are often injured too! It is completely fine to have a child of any age adjusted.
